Independence Day festivities will be celebrated July 7th, 2012!
The Independence Day celebration in Port Sanilac is filled with old fashioned fun for the whole family. If you're after a traditional parade, a rocking concert, or a fabulous firework show, you'll find it all in Port Sanilac! 
The parade kicks off the festivities
July 7th at 1pm.
From soldiers to fire trucks and horses to floats the parade is a classic display of small-town enthusiasm. The kids will collect loads of candy as they watch from the curbs. Be sure to stake out your spot early, the town fills right up!
Fireworks light up the sky on Saturday, July 7th at dusk!
On Saturday, July 7th, grab your chairs and head out to Main Street for our Independence Parade that should start about 1pm! Spend your day relaxing at the beach and then get to the park for the lead in music to the fireworks from 6-10pm. Join in the fun and excitement of a live show!
As dusk falls get settled in for a fabulous fireworks show! Launching from the North breakwall will be the best fireworks show in the Thumb. Ooh and ahh with the neighbors while we celebrate the birth our our country! After the show the head on over to the Stone Lodge or the Blue Water Sports Bar for a night of camaraderie.
The 4th of July in Port Sanilac is the place to be for fun, friendship, and celebration!
